🎓 Cyber Training: Basic Computer
Never used a computer, or want to feel more confident? Learn the skills you need for school, job applications, business and everyday life, with hands-on practice on our computers.
What you will learn
- Computer basics – parts of a computer, keyboard, mouse and typing practice
- Windows – files, folders, flash disks, saving and finding your work
- Microsoft Word – typing and formatting letters, assignments and your CV
- Microsoft Excel – tables, simple calculations and basic formulas
- PowerPoint – making simple presentations
- Internet & email – safe browsing, creating an email, sending and downloading documents

What to bring
Come with these documents and details so we can finish your application in one visit.
🏛️ KRA PIN & Returns
- Your National ID or Maisha Card
- Your employer's KRA PIN, if you are employed
- Your business registration details, if you run a business
- For returns filing: your KRA PIN and your income documents
🎓 HELB (first-time loan)
- Your email address and phone number
- KCPE and KCSE index numbers, and the years you sat them
- A passport-size photo (we can take one for you)
- A copy of your National ID or Maisha Card
- Birth certificate, if you are still under 18
- Sponsorship letters, if you were sponsored in secondary school
- Your parents' ID numbers and registered phone numbers
- A death certificate, if a parent has passed away
- Two guarantors: their ID numbers and registered phone numbers (parents can be guarantors)
🏫 KUCCPS placement
- Your KCSE index number and the year you sat the exam
- Your KCPE index number or birth certificate number (used to log in the first time)
- An active phone number and email address
- Your parent or guardian's phone number
- Your county and constituency
- The course codes you want (we can help you check cut-off points)
- Money for the application fee, paid by M-Pesa
The fee was KSh 1,500 for first-time applicants in the latest intake. We'll confirm the current amount.
🏥 SHA registration
- Your National ID (or a birth certificate when registering a child)
- Foreign resident ID or Refugee ID, if that applies to you
- The names and details of your dependants, such as your spouse and children
SHA rules change from time to time. Message us first and we'll confirm the latest list.
🛂 Passport (first-time adult)
- Your original National ID, plus a copy
- Your original birth certificate, plus a copy (citizens by registration bring their Certificate of Registration)
- Copies of your parents' IDs, or their death certificates
- Your parents' birth certificates
- Application Form 19 and payment invoices (we help you prepare them)
The passport fee is paid separately. Ask us for the current amount.

Can I send my files on WhatsApp for printing?
Yes. Send your document to 0734 074 349 on WhatsApp and tell us how many copies you want, and whether black & white or colour. We'll have it ready when you arrive.
How long does a CV take?
It depends on how much information you bring. Come with your ID, certificates and past job details, and we'll tell you how long it will take. CV writing and editing costs KSh 100.
How much is browsing?
Browsing is KSh 50 per hour. Creating an email account is KSh 50.
Can I pay by M-Pesa?
Yes. Pay with cash, or by M-Pesa to Buy Goods Till Number 8403560.
Do you help with KRA, HELB, KUCCPS and SHA?
Yes. See the price list above, and check the "What to bring" section so you come with everything you need and don't waste a trip.
Can I print photos?
Yes. Photo printing is KSh 50 for 10 x 15 and KSh 100 for A4. Passport photos are KSh 100 for 2 and KSh 150 for 4.
Do I need to know computers to join the training?
No. The Basic Computer course is for beginners and starts from the very beginning. The fee is KSh 3,500.
